Respray Progress Pics

Getting there now Went over today to see how things are going.

All stone chip removed, large dents pulled out. Bottom trim holes welded and smoothed over.


New rear bulkhead panel welded in and some more grinding back in the bed.


Wings smoothed over and primed, passenger door mirror smoothed over too.


Should all be done in about a week So far so good (well im happy anyway)

Ill keep you guys posted with progress pics

It looks really white in that lighting but its a kinda creamy light beige, Ive still yet to see it with my own eyes as the pics are from a mate.
Im working 18 days straight at the moment so trying to get over there is a near impossible Should help pay for it though

Almost done now Cant wait to start putting all the bits ive been collecting over the last year on to her







Just the tailgate and rear light housings need doing now, oh and petrol cap.
Having the embossed "volkswagen" script pained the darker beige too.

Should have her back home by the end of the week

Thought about polishing them up until I get some shiny deep dishs but someone has offered me £50 for them so might take him up on it, what you reckon?
